IMAT, TIL and TOLC Exams
There are three main types of exams students must take to be accepted into English or Italian university programs in Italy: IMAT, TIL, and TOLC. At Ro Academics, we are here to help you prepare for these exams.

Which Exam is for What?
What is IMAT? (International Medical Admission Test)
Who is it for? International students applying to English-language medical and dental programs
Exam Language: English
Scope: General knowledge, logic, biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics
When? Usually in September
Which Universities? Medical faculties such as Sapienza, Pavia, Padova, Bologna

What is TIL?
(Test di Ingresso del Politecnico di Torino)
Who is it for? Students who want to study engineering or architecture at Politecnico di Torino
Exam Language: English or Italian
Scope: Mathematics, logic, reading comprehension
When? Held online several times a year
Feature: Application cannot be made without passing the exam.
Our TIL preparation courses progress through topic-specific crash courses and practice sessions.
What is TOLC? (Test OnLine CISIA)
Who is it for? For admission to departments such as engineering, social sciences, and health sciences at most public universities.
Exam Language: Italian (English option available in some universities)
Types: TOLC-I (engineering), TOLC-E (economics, business, etc.), TOLC-F (pharmacy), etc.
When? It is held online at certain times throughout the year.
